Hot water from the sun, all year round.
Solar collectors on the roof heat the water in your water heater. In summer the water gets hot without electricity. In winter the sun does part of the work, so the electric heater element turns on less often.
Who it's for
From April to October the sun can heat your water, without a single kilowatt from the grid.
A family of four needs just two solar collectors, a solar pump station and a 150 liter water heater. In most cases we can convert your existing water heater to solar.
In winter, on a sunny day at -5°C, the water in the collector reaches 35 to 40°C. The water heater then only has to heat the rest with electricity or from central heating.

Will I have hot water in winter too?
Yes. In winter, on a sunny day at -5°C, the water in the collector reaches 35 to 40°C. The water heater then only has to heat the rest with electricity or from central heating.
Do I have to buy a new water heater?
No. In most cases we can convert your existing water heater to solar. We can also connect all the water heaters in a building into one network.
What does a family of four need?
Two solar collectors, a solar pump station, a solar controller and a 150 liter water heater. Plus the mounting frame, pipes, fittings and installation.
How long does it take to pay for itself?
For household hot water, in our experience, 2 to 3 years. From April to October the sun alone heats the water.
Can I buy on credit?
The ELSOL solar collector qualifies for the GEFF program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. With a loan from UniCredit or Erste Bank and our pro forma invoice, you get up to 20% back.
